The DataTale TQ-M12H external hard drive provides quadruple interfaces: eSATA, USB2.0, FireWire 400, and FireWire 800, for maximum connection flexibility. The durable aluminum casing with edged design helps to prevent sliding and to stabilize positioning. The HDD spin down feature ensures efficient operation by reducing power consumption. When your computer enters sleep mode, the hard drive spins down to minimize power consumption. The hard drive spins up automatically when the host system wakes up. Finally, the open-back design is especially suitable for efficient cooling and easy HDD replacement. IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to support 3TB, you must use Windows Vista, Windows 7 or higher, or Mac OS 10.3 or higher.
