Every Day Has A Beginning
| This film is set sometime in 1968 when a strange viral outbreak is contained within the walls of a military hospital in Pennsylvania: all those exposed are destroyed and burned to the ground. A wall of silence befalls the incidence, and soon enough only a vague myth remains. The hospital becomes a civilian mental treatment center. But old secrets can't be kept secret forever. |

Editor's Note
In the spirit of George A. Romero's DAY OF THE DEAD, this prequel/sequel is full of flesh-eating zombie gore. Beginning in 1968 Pennsylvania, DAY OF THE DEAD 2: CONTAGIUM begins with the Ravenside Military Installation, where a virus--one that brings the dead back to earth to feast on innocent humans--is spreading faster than the government can handle. Despite plans for a massive secret attack on the vicious undead, the army is unable to fully contain the killer virus, leaving it to surface once again 37 years later. During that time, the site of the 1968 calamity has been turned into a mental hospital. When a group of patients toys with an object containing the virus, it is let loose once again--this time with truly disastrous results.
