Editor's Note
A teen horror flick that plays on recognizable tropes of the B-movie tradition, this feature from Stephen J. Cannell (TV's THE GREATEST AMERICAN HERO) is a frightfest in the vein of SCREAM and SCARY MOVIE. Jeff Lucas is a typical outcast at a typical California high school, a troubled goth kid clad in black amid legions of sun-kissed youths. Returning to classes after summer vacation, a group of students turn in their finished projects for a documentary assignment. Unfortunately, Jeff has made a horror film instead, and is laughed out of the classroom. He responds by spouting mysterious proclamations, and a conflict with the school jock initiates a car chase during which Jeff loses control of his vehicle and dives over a cliff. A year later, a series of brutal murders and mysterious events gives rise to a frantic search for the killer, and the enigmatic new boy in school might just be the only one who knows the truth!
