To coincide with the publication of "Sara''s Song", Fern Michaels'' new story of love and second chances, Zebra is reissuing two of her previous blockbusters, "Wish List" and "Dear Emily", the story of a woman who overcomes pain and heartache by making dramatic changes in her life by losing weight, starting a chain of successful fitness centers and finding her one true love.
From the Publisher:
Two Chances

Chin up, Emily Thorn faces the pain and heartache of love lost and years wasted. At forty, all she has to show for twenty years of marriage is a Federal Express letter from her husband that begins "Dear Emily"--and ends their life together. She had put her own life on hold to pay Ian's way through medical school. She believed him when he told her that one day she'd have everything she ever wanted--children, an education, a career of her own. What she got was overweight, out of shape--and dumped.

To Find that Special Love

Emily needs to reclaim her life. Slimming down and starting up a chain of fitness centers, she is soon skyrocketing toward entrepreneurial success. . .and into relationships with two exciting new men. One is kind and compassionate, the other unpredictable and alarmingly sensual. Now, to keep her hard-won independence and balance it with a truly fulfilling love, all she has to do is choose the right one . . .

"Michaels shines at molding strength, weakness, guilt and pride into one sharply believable character--a woman who will appeal to first-time readers and devoted fans." --Publishers Weekly
Annotation:
Emily is devastated after her husband deserts her and their 20-year marriage. But with the help of two new male friends, and the refreshment of rekindled independence, she takes the first steps toward a better life.
Author Bio
Fern Michaels
Fern Michaels grew up in Hastings, Pennsylvania, got married, and had five children before she picked up a pen to begin writing what would turn out be one best-selling romance after another. One of the most consistent bestselling romance writers of the '80s and '90s, Michaels writes mostly steamy historical romances with heavy doses of passion, seduction, and torrid adultery. Divorced from her first husband, she dedicates much of her time to philanthropic concerns, having set up the Fern Michaels Foundation, which grants scholarships to students in need. She also set up affordable pre-school and day-care centers for struggling single mothers.
