From the Publisher:
Detective Milo Sturgis and investigator Alex Delaware tackle the case of a murdered teacher who before her death made a chilling DVD describing the sexual trauma she was suffering at the hands of three fellow teachers at her prestigious Los Angeles school. (Suspense). Simultaneous.
Annotation:
Dr. Alex Delaware and Detective Milo Sturgis investigate a scandalous murder at an elite Los Angeles prep school. Beside Elise Freeman's dead and tortured body the police found a DVD sharing horrifying details about her last year-and-a-half of life: Elise's final days were filled with physical and emotional torture at the hands of her colleague teachers at Windsor Preparatory Academy. Given that many of the cities most prominent citizens and politicians are alumni of this prestigious institution, this case has far-reaching implications. Investigating homicide detective Sturgis enlists forensics psychologist Delaware's assistance with this precarious case, and soon the two justice-seekers are playing into the hands of some rich and powerful individuals who will stop at nothing to protect themselves.

Praise

"The Delaware novels follow a pretty straightforward formula, but that's OK: Delaware and Sturgis are engaging characters with whom fans enjoy spending time...." - David Pitt 02/15/2010
