AVR-1913 replaces Yamaha HTR-57902/22/2013
I have owned my Yamaha receiver for about 9 years before taking the plunge into a new receiver that finally has HDMI input/output, which is the primary reason I made the change. I can tell you that although the Yamaha had just a little more kick in it's sound (power), the Denon does not disappoint. Very happy with sound quality!! And the AirPlay function is an incredible bonus!! (4 iPads and 1iPhone in this household!) Overall, I am please with the Denon and certainly made the right choice.
Denon AVR1913 Receiver8/14/2012
Everything is working like a dream. The on-screen set-up makes everything easy to connect and work on the first try. I will be setting up the Zone 2 components later this week. The Denon AVR 1913 is a really nice piece of equipment that will keep me up-to-date with technology for years to come.
