Customer Reviews of Denon AVR-2112CI In-Command 7.1 Channel 3D Ready A/V Receiver
This stereo was pretty easy to get hooked up and playing. The menu walks you through the quick setup. It took a little more studying to learn to use all the extra features and a call to Denon for support. Now that I am learning it I am really having fun! I ran a second zone of speakers from it through a speaker selector which is awesome.
Easy setup for hdmi devices. good auto calibration feature and I love the networking features. with component video from wii.

Excellent so far still learning all the features
This unit sets up very easy, the audio is stunning and the video upscaling is the best I have seen.... However don't look for a lot of sound fields on this as DD is about it for movies.... you have to use a denon site to set up any urls for internet radio stations that you subscribe to, they need to change their internal web server to include a UI on the device for this setup like pioneer does.
Will Blow You Away5/22/2012
I purchased this model because I had an issue with my Denon 1912 (which I loved) and I wanted to find something comparable. I didn't think the sound could get any better from a receiver and I was so wrong. Even though this is the next model up from the 1912, the sound was unreal in comparison. The Audyssey MultEQ XT was the main selling point for me and it is stellar.
Great sound ! and easy to setup too !5/9/2012
The best part of this receiver is its auto speaker calibration, it make sure you get the best sound for whatever speakers you are using, it will equalized all channels including the sub. Movie is great, so is audio/music. You can run the speaker auto calibration anytime even when you only have 2 speakers. Another important feature is that it can accept many different inputs and output everything using just 1 html to the TV, so no more messy cables behind the TV. I can't get it to display PC thou
I can not sing the praises of this receiver high enough. I spent an awful lot of time researching what Airplay capable receiver to buy and settled on two. I had originally considered getting the Denon 1912 but Batpig's thread on avsforum.com convinced me to upgrade to the 2112 for the better calibration system. Having a hell of a time trying to decide between this and its competitor, I ordered both and decided to try them in my home hooked up to a set of fantastic Energy Take Classic speakers. The result: the Denon blew the competitor away. Now maybe the competitor's MCACC calibration system just can't compare to Denon's incredible Audessy MQ and perhaps with some tweaking it would have approached the Denon in sound quality but I figured if the competitorcouldn't get that right, what else didn't they get right. Whereas the Denon is crystal clear with every note distinct and crisp, the competitor had a muddled, muted sound to it. Both I and my spouse could not believe the difference. I honestly don't think I would have kept the speakers had I gotten the competitor first, blaming the speakers rather than the receiver for the mediocre sound.

Great product, good seller2/15/2012
The product was easy to hook up and sounds great. The enclosed manual is useless, but the manual on the disk is very informative. Worth every cent.
