|Designed to serve as the heart and brain of your connected home theater system, the AVR-X2000 IN-Command 7.1 Network Home Theater Receiver features 7 discrete output stages with identical circuit topology, with each channel rated at 95 watts, easily able to drive todays quality loudspeakers. This receiver is equipped with advanced video circuitry capable of upscaling video signals to 4K Ultra HD. Video images at this resolution are dazzlingly vibrant and sharp. The easy-to-follow instructions via our on-screen setup assistant helps you to quickly and easily set up your system. In addition, you can assign 2 channels of the AVR-X2000s 7-channel amplifier to provide power for speakers located in another room. Audyssey Silver Audyssey Silver is standard on our AVR-X1000 and AVR-X2000 and includes Audyssey MultEQ XT, Audyssey Dynamic Volume, and Audyssey Dynamic EQ. Audyssey MultEQ XT calibrates the system for up to eight different seating positions, and it uses more and higher quality filters for better results, especially in the bass region, i.e., frequencies below 200Hz. As a result, bass is more impactful and is more evenly distributed throughout the room. Audyssey Dynamic Volume senses the impending arrival of very loud sounds and automatically reduces the difference between normal and extra-loud programming. Audyssey Dynamic EQ automatically adjusts subwoofer and surround speaker levels for maximum performance at any playback volume. Sophisticated Video Processing The powerful video processor section features high resolution upconversion that transforms standard definition (SD) video content to high definition (HD), and provides upscaling of 1080p HD to 4K Ultra HD (3840x2160 pixels) for compatibility with the latest high resolution displays, along with 3D pass-through. Handles Multiple Video Formats The sophisticated video processor also provides for compatibility with legacy analog video sources, and features 3 composite video (SD) inputs, and 2 component video inputs that can accept both SD and HD video signals. These inputs are assignable as well, letting you continue to enjoy all of your favorite content for years to come. Since these sources are internally converted to digital video, you only need a single HDMI cable run to your HDTV, minimizing cable costs and installation hassle. IN-Command Control Sophistication In addition to conventional remote control, the AVR-X2000 is equipped with a range of additional control options, including the Denon Remote App, which is available in iOS and Android versions, which lets you control the unit with your favorite smartphone or tablet. You can also control the AVR-X2000 via the web control function, which you can access via your PC or Mac web browser. Equipped with both LAN and RS-232C serial port connections, the AVR-X2000 is compatible with a broad range of home automation control systems from companies including AMX, Control4, Crestron, RTI, Savant and URC. The IR remote input and output jacks provide even more control options. Audyssey Room Acoustic Measurement and Correction Audyssey MultEQ XT automatic room acoustic measurement and correction harnesses the power of sophisticated DSP processing, measuring the acoustic output of the speakers and subwoofers and generating multiple digital EQ filters that provide the smoothest, most natural tonal balance in virtually any room. Enjoy Music in Two Rooms You can configure the AVR-X2000 for a full 7.1 channel system, or you can choose to have a 5.1 channel system in the main room and connect a pair of stereo speakers that are located in another room. Enjoy thrilling surround sound in the main room while at the same time others can enjoy stereo sound from different source in the second room. Connection andamp; Installation Ease Setup is both quick and easy thanks to the Denon Setup Assistant, an intuitive on-screen graphical interface that walks you through the setup process. The newly designed rear panel features logically arranged blocks of connector groups, and includes horizontally arranged speaker binding posts with a 12 oclock speaker wire input orientation, and the speaker connectors can accept multiple termination types. For further ease of installation, the speaker connectors are color-coded, and the supplied color-coded speaker wire labels will ensure proper connections the very first time. The power cord is detachable, which provides additional installation flexibility. The chassis depth is only 13 inches, which allows for greater installation flexibility in tighter spaces, such as a TV cabinet. Customer Reviews of Denon - AVR-X2000 - 7.1 Channel A/V Multi-Zone Receiver
Great price/performance from Denon5/24/2014
This X2000 is already impressive and I haven't even used half of the features I bought it for yet. I hooked up some borrowed speakers just to test it and make sure it works as I can't install it to my home theater until I finish building it. In the far less than idea room I have it in, the 5.0 surround sound blows me away, and it even had more bass than I ever expected out of some old borrowed speakers. Calibration was easy and made it sound 10x better than out of box.
Great for the price5/20/2014
Great for the price when it dropped down
So far so good.5/13/2014
Still waiting to put it thru its paces when my new tv arrives, but it powers my Klipsch RF 42s and Acoustech sub very well.
Great to use with Denon app5/12/2014
I use the Denon app on my Nexus 10 to control the receiver from anywhere in the house. Zone 2 features work great. Love this receiver.
Great value at 3995/7/2014
as one of the higher end Denon recievers, finding this new at $399 was an amazing deal. The quality and the features of the X2000 is bar none.
Excellent value receiver at this price point5/7/2014
The denon X2000 at a price point of $400 is an absolute steal. It may not have the fancy frills of bluetooth and wifi but it does have ethernet network connectivity which in my opinion is a better way to connect to a network. Sound output and audyssey are excellent, remote is well laid out and easy to use. My suggestion is that a printed product manual should be part of package.
Great receiver frm Denon. Got this on a deal and I am not looking back. Tons of features, true multi zone (I will be using second zone for audio in my patio). The best part is the Auddessy MultiEQ for sound adjustment based on the room.
Great budget receiver!5/4/2014
I recently purchased the Denon AVR-X1000 to replace a Harman Kardon AVR-1700 in a secondary 5.1 system. I was so impressed that I went out and immediately bought the X2000 to replace a (new) Onkyo in my 7.1 system. This is a well engineered receiver with amazing sound and a great set of features. The sound improvement on both setups is immediately apparent, and the Audyssey does it's job nicely. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again.
