Armando Sancho, a gangbanger who has become a cop, faces a difficult decision when his partner Salim (Cuba Gooding Jr.) kills an innocent man while on duty. During the course of a single day, Sancho must deal with Salim's crime, the Internal Affairs agents who want him to testify, his criminal past, his loyalty to the force, and his own conscience.
