Customer Reviews of Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention (PS Vita)
Excellent Strategy Game3/27/2013
I'm surprised at how long this game takes to beat, around 25 to 30 hours. There's just so much content added that will keep you busy for awhile. The game itself is a strategy RPG, you plan your attacks and move along a grid. The touch controls work well but they aren't required. It's quick enough to pick up and play short bursts but also a really lengthy adventure.
Disgaea 3 is very good6/11/2012
This game looks and runs great on the Vita and I highly recommend it to anyone that is a fan of SRPGs or RPGs in general. The touch screen features can be disabled for the most part and don't interfere with the game at all. Both modes work fine
Having fun with the game, I love that it uses the GPS. As I only played the PS3 version for a few hours, there wasn't much to replay. I like the game about as much as I liked 2, but 1 is still the best IMO because of the characters. The club system is fun, and I enjoyed poking characters to move them around. Also, if you are like me and rest your fingers on the back just below the L and R buttons, prepare to be confused. This does page down and page up in a small area, exactly where I normally rest my fingers. I thought I broke my joystick for a moment.
