From the Publisher:
This practice book is designed to help students first memorize and then develop fluency with their basic division facts - i.e. dividing numbers where divisor and quotient are between 0 and 10. This book is conveniently divided up into four parts: Part 1 features a single number so that students can master one number's division facts at a time; each problem in Part 2 has either a divisor or quotient no larger than 5, allowing students to concentrate on smaller numbers first; similarly, the problems of Part 3 have a divisor or quotient greater than 5; and Part 4 is a mixture of Parts 2 and 3. An introduction describes how parents and teachers can help students make the most of this workbook. Kids are encouraged to time and score each page. In this way, they can try to have fun improving on their records, which can help lend them confidence in their math skills. A multiplication table is provided to help students who are just learning their division facts. |
