|Sometimes your whole life can seem to be a Good News/Bad News joke. The good news for Suzuo Sakurazaki is that after months of searching, he's finally got a job! The bad news is that it's testing a new "battle-suit" against the galaxy's worst super-villains! Still, the good news is that the job includes a room at a nice apartment... but the bad news is that all of those same super-villains live in the same building! Likewise, his hot new neighbor is a rival tester for a competing suit manufacturer, his diminutive new live-in boss-lady is a pre-teen alien, and that bunny-like thing next door is....well, it seems to be the hot girl next door's boss. But the good news is that most of the time Suzuo doesn't have a clue as to what's actually going on, and in this case ignorance is definitely bliss! Can a pampered young hero find happiness while wearing alien diapers, or will he end up wearing a distant soil? It depends, but somebody's definitely going to need a hugged when the ***** hits the ***** in Dockside!?|
Editor's NoteThe Galaxy Federation Police have an employee shortage on their hands, but think they've arrived at a good solution--robotic power suits designed to increase the power of the cops they do have on the force. Young Suzuo has been looking for a job, and Tampopo has been looking for a human to try out the new suit. In the process of testing the suit, Suzuo fights hardened criminals and must not reveal his true identity (but also must live together with them in one apartment building!). Parodying Japanese pop-culture figures from magical girls to mad scientists to the sentai masked superheroes, the comic anime DOKKOIDA?! spares no feelings in its quest to entertain and poke fun at classic archetypes. This release contains the complete series.
