Author Bio
Eavan Boland
Eavan Boland's father was a diplomat, her mother an artist, and the family lived in various locations around the world while she was growing up. She was educated in Dublin at Trinity College, married, and raised two daughters in a suburb of the city. In addition to writing poetry, she has been a journalist, a radio broadcaster, and university professor, and was appointed in 1994 to head the Wallace Stegner Fellowship Program in Creative Writing at Stanford.
