You think you know people. (from the first line)
New York Times bestselling author Davidson delivers her latest culinary cozy featuring Goldy Schultz. When Goldy is suspected of murder, she must find a way to calm her upset son, fend off the cops, and run her catering business while she finds the real killer.

From The Publisher:
Caterer supreme Goldy Schulz has more on her plate than she can handle. Her ultra-charming, ultra-wealthy, and seriously psychopathic ex-husband, Dr. John Richard Korman (aka "the Jerk"), is free now that the governor of Colorado has commuted his prison sentence. And someone -- the Jerk, perhaps -- has taken great pains to sabotage Goldy's latest culinary endeavor, a post-funeral reception for a friend at a local lodge.

But even more than the anonymous threats, rumors, and violence that have lately been directed Goldy's way, it's her discovery of a fresh corpse that really spoils the stew -- a murder that could tear her family to pieces, a murder that virtually everyone believes Goldy committed.

True, she's been efficiently framed, but at least she's still breathing, which may not be the case for long, if she doesn't track down a killer who's cooked up a very nasty repast for Goldy and the people she loves.

About The Author:
Diane Mott Davidson is the author of eleven bestselling mysteries. She lives with her family in Colorado.

Annotation:
Sleuth/caterer Goldy Bear Schulz's own goose might be cooked if she can't clear her name in the 12th entry of a tasty mystery series. Goldy's despicable ex-husband, Dr. John Richard Korman, is let out of prison early when the governor commutes his sentence for assault. Not long afterward, Goldy is knocked unconscious and her new kitchen trashed by a masked assailant. Her ex seems a likely culprit, but then someone shoots him and frames Goldy for his murder. The back of the book contains several of Goldy's recipes.
Author Bio
Diane Mott Davidson
Diane Mott Davidson spent much of her childhood traveling between naval bases. After attending Wellesley, Stanford, and Johns Hopkins, she settled down with her husband and sons in Evergreen, Colorado. There she began writing culinary mysteries staring amateur sleuth Goldy Bear Schultz, a single mother divorced from an abusive husband. The idea for the mystery series first came to her on afternoons spent sitting in cafes waiting to pick her sons up from school. The catering services offered at one particular cafe sparked the idea for her to create the Goldy Bear mysteries, all of which feature original recipes. Besides cooking, Davidson enjoys reading and is a huge Denver Broncos fan.
