Editor's Note In the Antarctic, scientists uncover 20,000-year-old seed pods, a no-doubt exciting find. When it turns out that they are actually deadly Krynoids, however, everyone wishes they had been left alone. When the Krynoids germinate, they become rapacious killing machines. Doctor Who (Tom Baker) tries to avert catastrophe once again, this time battling with an insane English millionaire intent on adding the creatures to his world-renown botanical collection.
