|Dragon Age II is a single player role-playing game (RPG) for play on the PC. Epic sequel to the BioWare developed 2009 Game of the Year, Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age II continues the adventure with a new hero, Hawke, and utilizes the choices made by the player to affect a story that spans ten years worth of time in-game. Additional game features include: the ability to choose your character's class and sex, a new cinematic in-game experience, a nonlinear narrative and the ability to import saved information from earlier Dragon Age games.About Dragon Age II
Embark on an all-new adventure spread across a ten-year span of years with an all-new hero in the multiple award-winning Dragon Age saga. In Dragon Age II you are Hawke, said to have been one of the few to survive the destruction of your homeland. Forced to fight for survival, you gathered the deadliest of allies, amassed fame and fortune and sealed your place in history, eventually becoming in effect a legend in your own time. But legends are all in the telling.
Dragon Age II utilizes a nonlinear narrative, taking the form of a story-within-a-story that hinges upon your exploits as told by the storyteller, Varick. Yet like any good storyteller, Varick tends to exaggerate from time to time. When questioned on events related to Hawke, Varick may present a different scenario in which Hawke's exploits play out. It is within these replays that the decisions of the players hold sway, as their particular versions of Hawke relive these events. Is the player's particular version of Hawke, male or female? A warrior, a rogue, or a mage? Is Hawke good-natured or something less than a salt-of-the-Earth type? Is romance in the air amongst characters he/she associates with? These choices are all the player's to make and each affect the the outcome of the story at all levels.
Mark of the Assassin
Embark on a thrilling adventure of deception and intrigue in Mark of the Assassin, the latest downloadable expansion for Dragon Age II. In this gripping new story, Hawke is joined by a mysterious elf assassin, Tallis. Voiced by none other than actress Felicia Day, this new party member comes complete with her own unique combat style and intriguing back story. With Tallis at your side, you must Infiltrate an Orlesian estate outside Kirkwall and steal a precious relic. Along the way, you will uncover an array of impressive weapons and equipment, and confront fearsome and challenging new enemies on your journey to claim the Heart of the Many.
"...not quite the same game, but where it's different it is better. Limim, GameArena
"A visceral, well-written and worthy sequel to an excellent game, with huge potential to become a modern classic. Phil Iwaniuk, PCFormat

Many hours of play, deep story line.9/18/2012
Dragon Age 2 is a significant departure from Dragon Age. It's the same world, with the same back story, and a few NPCs from DA:Origins and DA:Awakening appear in DA2 (and if you played DA and import its results into DA2, it will affect the story line in subtle and not so subtle ways). It's a different part of the world, with a story that loosely ties in to the DA story. A lot has been changed in DA2: a different graphics engine, a very different abilities/powers mechanism, a completely different crafting system, redesigned look of the races, a simplified item/equipment use system (armor options are for the player character only, no weapon switching option, more restrictions on what weapons can be used with what skills), no options for non-human player character. The story is as complex and perhaps longer and more involved than in DA:O (and much much longer than DA:A). As in DA, there is a huge amount of voice acting. All dialogue trees, with all of their permutations reflecting the player's actions, behavior, chosen gender and class, are professionally voice-acted. The dialog options now look more like in Mass Effect, and all of the player's dialogue is now voiced, so the interactions are even more cinematic. The game right now is listed for under $10. It's a steal at that price and is well worth the investment of money and game time.
Cool computer game
I haven't try this 1 yet but it look very much like vindictus, which u can play for free online and fill with more action pack gameplay. This might fall short due to the matter u have to pay for it and just get a mediocre game. I wouldn't buy this.
Very interresting to play.
You can't beat this price.4/20/2012
This game may not have been as good as the first Dragon Age, but it was still fun. At this price, you can't really complain. They changed up the battle system a bit, but left everything else relatively the same. Most people (myself included) think the changes were for the worse on the battle system, but you may like it even more!
