Author Bio
Laurence Yep
Laurence Yep began his writing career at age 18 when one of his short science fiction stories was published. He attended Marquette University and graduated from the University of California at Santa Cruz. He also has a doctorate in English from the State University of New York at Buffalo. His first book, SWEETWATER, was published in 1973. Two of his works, DRAGONWINGS and DRAGON'S GATE, have been named Newbery Honor Books.
