They may have stolen my past, but I''ll never let them take my future.
When the walls between Man and Fae come crashing down, freeing the insatiable, immortal Unseelie from their icy prison, MacKayla Lane is caught in a deadly trap. Captured by the Fae Lord Master, she is left with no memory of who or what she is: the only sidhe-seer alive who can track the Sinsar Dubh, a book of arcane black magic that holds the key to controlling both worlds.
Clawing her way back from oblivion is only the first step Mac must take down a perilous path, from the battle-filled streets of Dublin to the treacherous politics of an ancient, secret sect, through the tangled lies of men who claim to be her allies into the illusory world of the Fae themselves, where nothing is as it seems--and Mac is forced to face a soul-shattering truth.
"Who do you trust when you can''t even trust yourself?

Author Bio
Karen Marie Moning
Karen Marie Moning (pronounced MAW-ning) has been widely celebrated for both her romantic Highlander series and her urban-fantasy Fever books. One of four children, Moning was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. She earned a bachelor's degree in Society and Law from Purdue University and embarked on a career in the insurance industry. After a decade of working in an office, she decided instead to pursue a long-held dream of writing a novel. In 1999, her first romance, BEYOND THE HIGHLAND MIST, was published. She later wrote several other Highlander books, and in the course of her research, she became fascinated by Celtic mythology. As a result, she began penning an urban-fantasy series set in an Ireland populated by vampires, fairies, and other such creatures. The first of those novels, DARKFEVER, was published in 2006, followed by BLOODFEVER , FAEFEVER, DREAMFEVER, and SHADOWFEVER. Several landed on the bestseller lists, and in 2011, the acclaimed studio DreamWorks acquired the rights to the entire Fever series, much to the delight of her fans, who flooded the Internet with speculation about a future film franchise. (Her most avid readers are known as the "Moning Maniacs.") Moning, who lives with her musician husband, Neil, in Georgia, is often asked where she finds her inspiration. She replied to one interviewer, "In the wind on my bare skin. In a sexy man. In the dark when I'm afraid of what probably isn't but might be. In a movie that ends badly and should have ended another way. In a book that leaves me wanting more."
