A great book for kids!

by Paul Smith on 8/24/2010

It's amazing how my children have learned to be "patient like the little duck" just by a simple illustration and one word - Patient. This book has only one word per page but it has taught my children important concepts. This is currently their favorite book. We would check it out from the library every other week until we decided to finally buy it for ourselves. Read More

"The vocabulary is sometimes a stretch for the board-book crowd, but there's no quibbling with how cleverly the pictures encapsulate the featured feeling, or that young children do experience the emotions Hill highlights."
From the Publisher
Editors Note Happy, sad, scared, and proud are some of the feelings identified and discussed in a charming board book featuring best pals Duck and Goose and their adorable friends, Thistle and Bluebird.
Annotation Duck and Goose explore their feelings in this brightly illustrated board book. With a range of impressively illustrated feelings, including patient, frustrated, proud, and selfish, toddlers will be able to find words for their many moods. This is the third book in the popular Duck & Goose series, which includes WHAT'S UP DUCK: A BOOK OF OPPOSITES.
Editors Note 2 Preschoolers, rejoice! Duck and Goose are back in their third board book appearance. All the favorite characters, including Bluebird and Thistle, return—this time to help toddlers learn about their feelings. Following on the heels of the hugely successful What’s Up, Duck? and Duck & Goose 1,2,3, this charming board book uses simple text and colorful illustrations to help preschoolers identify familiar feelings like happy, sad, scared, and proud.
