Allan Ahlberg
Allan Ahlberg is best known for the books he created in collaboration with his wife, Janet. Allan Ahlberg met Janet Hall at Sunderland College of Education in England, where they were both studying to be teachers. During their collaborations, Allan served as writer while Janet provided the illustrations. Their most famous and popular book is THE JOLLY POSTMAN: OR, OTHER PEOPLE'S LETTERS, a compilation of imaginary mail of famous fairy tale characters. Although Janet Ahlberg died in 1994, Allan Ahlberg continued to produce books for young readers.Janet Ahlberg is well known for the books she created in collaboration with her husband, Allan. Janet Hall met Allan Ahlberg at Sunderland College of Education in England, where they were both studying to be teachers. During their collaborations, Janet provided the illustrations while Allan served as writer.
