The detector works well and is a good product for the price. After initial detection the beeper volume is reduced so it is not annoying when detecting automatic doors.
Good buy for car owners6/17/2012
Its a good buy. It gives a beep when it gets a radar signal now I can drive more carefully. I am thinking to buy one more to give as gift to my friend as he appreciated seeing mine.
Cheep - Early Warning does not work6/17/2012
Yes the price was cheep but it was not worth a dime. went by 5 cops shooting radar and it did not go off once. Pulled up to a store and the automatic doors set it off. Having it tell me there was a automatic door would not help me get out of a ticket. It is going back!!!!
Junk - don't waste your money6/11/2012
Product is worthless. Does not detect anything excepot for road construction beacons!!! Don't waste your money.
Works fine for the money.6/2/2012
I have tested this radar comparing it to my older PNI. Works fine. It gives false warnings if both r/d are on. PNI does not. Good ability to detect simple traps. Gives warnings to look on the speedometer ... Good for not advanced users.
THIS HAS PRODUCT HAS SERVED ITS PURPOSE!
Great value product.5/29/2012
This radar detector seems to work fine so far. When I'm around stores and gas stations, it does give off false alarms, but that's common with low-end detectors. It's worth the price if you don't want to spend the big bucks. The true test will come on a long road trip that I have yet to take since I bought this detector.
This product is what you pay for, cheap cheap and cheaper. I am going to send it back. I drove over 100 miles and the thing never went off. And I passed several things that should have set it off.
Nice for the change!5/22/2012
Good detector for the money. I would buy another if I needed it. Only bad is display needs better led system. The audio alerts make up for that though. Busted several speed traps already. Happy happy happy!
Fives Across the Board5/22/2012
I give this puppy a 5 for several reasons. Excellent price for a sophisticated detector, capable of functions previously kinda hard to find in a detector in this price range. And, to reiterate, the price was GREAT! Showed up quick, too. Good buy. Two days for delivery, via postal service. If this saves me only one ticket, that'll pay for it ten times over.
Great Radar Detector5/21/2012
I like that the radar detector is small and compact. I received it for a great price. The product works great around the city. Havent had a chance to test it on the road yet but will this weekend while Im traveling out of town for the Memorial Day holiday.
