Author Bio
Jean Little
Canadian author Jean Little is the daughter of medical missionaries. Though her vision was impaired from birth and subsequently worsened, she is able to write using a talking computer known as a SAM (Synthesized Audio Microcomputer) and a scanner that magnifies print. Little is a graduate of the University of Toronto. Her first book, MINE FOR KEEPS, was published in 1962 after she won a writing contest sponsored by the Little, Brown publishing company. Jean Little creates poetry, picture books, and novels for middle readers.
