Ease of Use

Works well if you play with it long enough

Ordered this adapter as a replacement for Cisco 2500, after installing two new AC routers in the house. Could not make it work under Windows 7 Pro 64-bit with drivers provided on CD or Web site. Interestingly, CD drivers are NEWER than Web site drivers. Finally downloaded and extracted Windows 8 drivers and used "Update Driver" option in "Device Manager" to point to drivers. Seems to work fine since then. Connects to router 2-stories away at 325 Mbs or faster at half strength signal. Engenius tech support is none-existant. So far I emailed them twice, and had no response at all. Have been using adapter with 4 PCs so far (all of them running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit) utilizing Windows 8 driver with no problems - it runs at consistent speed, no disconnects, speed is consistently over 300 Mbs. If you are going to use Windows 8 driver with Windows 7, do NOT run install aplication - you will receive "OS not supported" error. Instead use WinZip or similar app to extract drivers, than point to them when installing device.
