London's bizarre quintet PRE, who could accurately be described as similar to any of the above, understand this, as EPIC FITS careens through 14 tracks in around 20 minutes. Vocalist Keeks Matsuura's keening shriek assaults listeners, while the band whooshes through bright blasts of rusty metal junk-pop anchored by a mutant-rhythm two-bass attack that hits like a sugar rush with a gasoline aftertaste.
