Customer Reviews of Epson Artisan 50 Inkjet Printer
Quickly got what I neeted at a very good price.1/9/2013
Checked several internet sites for this item and found the best price here. The order came very quickly (in under a week). The item was as advertised and works great for my purposes. Would not hesitate to buy from them again.
Great Printer for print to disk6/26/2012
I had the previous version of this printer for about 5 years and then it started to misprint and print in funny colors. Tried everything to get it fixed but ended up getting this new version. It ahs held up the same so far and prints when I ask it to. I don't print much so I should probably at least print one sheet a week or month and it won't do what the previous one did. But other than that I think it is an excellent printer. Especially if you are looking to print to dvd or cd discs.
I Love It7/10/2011
I bought this printer to replace my dymo discpainter that has been nothing but trouble, and I'm thrilled with the quality of the direct print DVDs. The software isn't the best, but I can export my designs from my other software as a photo file and the epson print disc software prints it beautifully. I tried photo printing for the first time today and LOVE IT! I love the 5 ink concept - the images are so crisp. I've only had the printer for a week now, but so far I'm completely happy with it. The price was great too.
A little pricey, but worth it for performance!10/1/2010

Works Very Well!!8/25/2010
This is a good printer. I have extensive experience with an older model, the R260, and in many areas, this printer seems superior to the R260, but in some areas, it's actually a step backwards. For the $99 + Free Shipping that I paid, I'm happy. The highs: photo print quality, quick print speed, attractive case, it's quiet. The lows: obscenely expensive ink (The refills for the cartridge will cost over $80, making the ink cost about $8000/gal.), you have to remove the tray from the printer and reinsert to go to CD mode (the R260 just flips a lever), it won't boot up if it's in CD mode (R260 will), it won't print ID cards without a workaround. There are durability issues with older Epson printers, and I can't say if this one addresses them as I just bought it. Overall, this is really a good printer, but it's expensive to operate.
