Curious. Fantastic. Mischievous. Unpredictable. Wayward.
In the shadows of Shinjuku lies a spirit world brimming with monsters and magic. Tokyo's guardian spirit is the "Crow" (Karas), a superhero in black armour, dedicated to preserving the border between this world and the next. But when a former Karas goes rogue, humans and their supernatural allies must bring him down. Their last hope is Otoha, a young doctor in an illegal clinic, treating impossible patients. He must suit up as the newest Karas to fight man's otherworldly enemies, before all hell breaks loose.

Directed by Keiichi Sato (City Hunter, Wolf's Rain), and made in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Japan's Tatsunoko Studios, the creators of Speed Racer and Battle of the Planets, Karas is packed with extras including behind-the-scenes footage, voice actor interviews and shot comparisons.

Editor's Note
Tatsunoko Productions presents KARAS: THE PROPHECY, an anime featuring the voices of actors Piper Perabo, Matthew Lillard, and Jay Hernandez. Jam-packed with fighting sequences, and with music by the Prague Symphony Orchestra, KARAS: THE PROPHECY takes place in a fictional version of Tokyo, where humans and demons coexist. As the city's guardian, it is Karas's responsibility to keep all these different forces in balance, a task that proves manageable enough until the power-hungry Eko intervenes at all of Tokyo's expense.
