I use a computer monitor for a TV. That monitor has been taking an hdmi feed from a satelite receiver just fine for a few years now. Switching to this box with composite video coming in and hdmi out the monitor tells me the input is not supported. Changed out the monitor with a newer model and got no signal at all. I have no idea if this is working or not. Tried 720 and 1080 p settings. Very disspointed.
I purchased this unit to connect a cheap wireless outdoor security camera to an HDTV via an HDMI port . It worked wonderfully right out of the box. No adjustments were necessary. I will buy another soon for future use.
Wish it were a tad cheaper.
