Editor's Note
Fort Courage formed the setting for this popular TV western series, which ran from 1965-1967. Private Wilton Parmenter (Ken Berry) finds himself in charge of the fort after a mishap, and subsequently has to deal with the local Indian population and the attentions of the attractive Jane Angelica Thrift (Melody Patterson), who only has eyes for him. Everyone hams it up for comedic effect throughout, leading to a deliciously amusing slice of vintage TV, with three episodes presented here.
