This fourth outing in the FINAL DESTINATION series adds a whole new dimension of fear. In THE FINAL DESTINATION, Nick O'Bannon and his friends narrowly escape a grisly death when Nick sees a horrific vision of the future. But fans of the three previous three films know that Death doesn't like to be cheated, and now the characters will have to struggle to survive.

| They say you can't cheat death. According to this long running horror franchise, however, you can milk it like a cash cow. After three previous installments in which an airline disaster, multi-vehicle highway crash, and rollercoaster accident lead to a game of cinematic chicken with the Grim Reaper himself, Final Destination is back for what some have suggested is the last chapter in this oddly popular series. After what this weak effort has to offer, there's no doubting this is (probably) the end. | On Blu-ray, The Final Destination receives a more-than-adequate 1080p/VC-1 transfer, presented in a 2.40:1 aspect ratio. Colors are bright and distinguishable, especially during the film’s many bloody moments, and black levels are solid all the way through. The disc boasts both a flat 2D version of the film as well as a anaglyphic 3D presentation, to which two pairs of glasses are included in the packaging. The 2D version is a lot easier on the eyes than the 3D one, as a majority of the effects simply don’t seem to work all that well.
