In the 12th novel of the "New York Times"-bestselling Sisterhood series, the irrepressible Ladies of Pinewood journey to Washington and face their most ambitious adversary yet--the world''s most powerful and ruthless media mogul. Original.
From the Publisher:
The women of the Sisterhood need to get Martine Connor into the White House in order to win their promised presidential pardon, and so they help her campaign against an opponent backed by Ruben Rumson, the world's most powerful and ruthless media mogul. Reprint.
Annotation:
This is the fifth installment in Fern Michaels' bestselling SISTERHOOD series. The six ladies of the Sisterhood might have a way out of the exile that their past exploits led them into. But in order to secure their freedom they will have to take on one of the most powerful men in America, media giant Ruben Rumson, who's now getting involved in presidential politics and dipping his fat finger even deeper into the American pie.
Author Bio
Fern Michaels
Fern Michaels grew up in Hastings, Pennsylvania, got married, and had five children before she picked up a pen to begin writing what would turn out be one best-selling romance after another. One of the most consistent bestselling romance writers of the '80s and '90s, Michaels writes mostly steamy historical romances with heavy doses of passion, seduction, and torrid adultery. Divorced from her first husband, she dedicates much of her time to philanthropic concerns, having set up the Fern Michaels Foundation, which grants scholarships to students in need. She also set up affordable pre-school and day-care centers for struggling single mothers.
