I've been an avid fan of Firesign Theater since 1970, so I REALLY wanted to like this set. Unfortunately, the only performance on the set worth having is the original Nick Danger skit taken from the original album (now CD) "HOW CAN YOU BE IN TWO PLACES AT ONCE WHEN YOU'RE NOT ANYWHERE AT ALL?" If you have that, then you already have the only thing in this entire set that's worthwhile. The live performances are very weak at best. Compounding the problem is they are poorly recorded. Most sound like someone stuck a cassette recorder behind the curtains in the wings of the stage as an afterthought. I was hoping for some great stuff. Now, that said, although I have all the classic Firesign albums through 1980, as well as "Shoes For Industry", this was the first time I heard most of this material. It was a disappointment. If you know the material and think its worthwhile, then this is a way to get it all in one place on factory pressed silver CDs, as opposed to the CD-Rs Laugh.com is selling now. My rating is a "2" on the strength of the original "Nick Danger" sketch alone.
