Two talented young basketball players hustle hard on the court in hopes of winning an underground championship where the stakes are high, and competition is fierce in this gritty urban sports drama. Moving to a new city with his mother in an attempt to make a clean break with their abusive past, young Vance studies hard, and starts throwing hoops with local athlete Jules.
