Young-adult author Cecily von Ziegesar is best known for her revolutionary series, Gossip Girl, set in the in the wealthy world of Manhattan's elite private schools where sex, drugs, and designer labels rule. An alumna of the prestigious New York City private high school Nightingale-Bamford, von Ziegesar set the children's book world on fire with the 2002 title GOSSIP GIRL.
