Still yelling. Still fighting. Still ready for love.
Turn the beloved bait shop into a chichi ristorante? This means war. With jack lemmon and walter matthau returning to wage it, it also means funny.

"Better, funnier and even grumpier than the original.  Joel Siegel, Good Morning America

Editor's Note
This sequel to 1993's GRUMPY OLD MEN finds the crochety seniors still full of venom for each other, even when a gorgeous Italian woman moves in and threatens to turn their local bait store into a restaurant.

Plot Summary
The hilarious, bickering neighbors from "Grumpy Old Men" return in this entertaining sequel. This time, John and Max team up to shut down a restaurant that's replaced their favorite bait shop. However, amid their scheming, Max manages to fall in love with Maria, who runs the eatery with her mother.| Meanwhile, the wedding between Max's son and John's daughter is called off, which causes the two elderly men to begin feuding once again.| Also returning for the sequel is John's father, a hilariously dirty old man who woos Maria's prudish mother.

Memorable Quotes

"I think I gave him bad advice. I told him to be himself." ---- John (JACK LEMMON), after Max (WALTER MATTHAU) goes out on a date.

"Come back to my place! I'll show you my canneloni!" ---- Grandpa (BURGESS MEREDITH) to Francesca, Maria's elderly mother (ANN GUILBERT).

...[an] often funny sequel to Grumpy Old Men which should definitely tickle the funny bone of those who found enjoyment in the first film... In the hands of this very able cast you can't help but laugh out loud. Time may have aged the appearances of the cast, but certainly not their comic timing; and what a pleasure to see romantic characters above the age of 50.
