|The latest installment from the #1 best-selling video game franchise of 2007, Guitar Hero World Tour will transform music gaming by marrying Guitar Hero’s exhilarating guitar gameplay, with a cooperative band experience that combines the most advanced wireless instruments with revolutionary new online and offline gameplay modes. The game will feature a slick newly redesigned guitar, a genuine electronic drum kit and a microphone, as well as an innovative Music Studio music creator that lets players compose, record, edit and share their own rock and roll anthems, along with online Band Career and 8-player "Battle of the Bands."
About the Music:
Delivering the largest on-disc set list in a music-rhythm game to-date, Guitar Hero World Tour is comprised entirely of master recordings from some of the greatest classic and modern rock bands of all-time including Van Halen, Linkin Park, The Eagles, Sublime and many more. Additionally, the game will offer significantly more localized downloadable music than ever before on all of the next-generation consoles. Budding rock stars will also be given creative license to fully customize everything from their characters’ appearance and instruments to their band’s logo and album covers.
About the Gear:
In addition to a newly designed more responsive guitar controller and microphone, Guitar Hero World Tour will deliver the most realistic drum experience ever in a video game with an authentic electronic drum kit. Featuring three drum pads, two raised cymbals and a bass kick pedal, the drum controller combines larger and quieter, velocity-sensitive drum heads with soft rubber construction to deliver authentic bounce back and is easy to set up, move, break down and store.
About the Game:
Guitar Hero World Tour delivers more ways to play than ever before. Virtual musicians can live out their rock and roll fantasies by playing either a single instrument, or any combination of instruments, in addition to the full band experience. In addition to all of the online gameplay modes from Guitar Hero® III: Legends of Rock, Guitar Hero World Tour introduces Battle of the Bands mode which allows eight players to join online and challenge each other band-to-band to determine who is the best of the best. In the Band modes, up to four players can jam together, online or off, as they progress through the game, and in single-player Career Mode, players can jam on any of the instruments in branching venue progression enabling them to rock out in the order of their choice.
About the Music Studio:
The game’s innovative new Music Studio lets players express their musical creativity by giving them access to a full compliment of tools to create digital music from scratch, utilizing all of the instruments, and then play their compositions in the game. Music creators will also be able to share their recordings with their friends online through GHTunes™ where other gamers can download their unique compositions and play them.

Awesome game everyone should get4/5/2012
The iPhone is turning out to be the handheld to have if you're a music/rhythm game junkie. With Rock Band, Six-String, and the Tapulous series, you'd think there'd hardly be room for one more on the platform. But Guitar Hero doesn't care what you think. It showed up out of nowhere-- announced, no less, in the middle of WWDC 2010's keynote speech-- boasting six well-chosen songs and a very reasonable price. So how does it stack up against the competition? Like a rock star, of course. It may be late to the party, but it's still a heck of a lot of fun to play. Once again, you hold your iDevice vertically and watch notes stream down the screen on what we like to call the rock 'n roll superhighway. Your job is to tap or swipe the notes when they get to the sweet spot at the bottom of the screen. Do this in time to the music and you'll sound like a rock god. Screw up, and your ears are in for a beating.
Be a rockstar!11/11/2011
This game is it! Rock to some of your favorite songs with not only a guitar, but bass, drums, and even vocals! I won't get into the whole Rockband vs Guitar Hero: World Tour debate, but I do own World Tour and it's been great! It's an amazing party game, so invite your friends over or even battle people online!
This game rocks!12/30/2008
I got this game mostly for the drums. I'd have gotten Rockband instead if I hadn't found out that Guitar Hero had come out with a better drum kit. The new features in the game are amazing. The rockstar creator gives a lot of customization options although I felt it could've been better. And the instrument customization was something I hadn't even expected, although I do miss being able to just pick a pre-designed guitar. I haven't tried out the Music Studio yet but I heard some of the ones already in the game and now I'm not so sure it'll be as great as I'd initially thought. The song selection is great but I kind of wish I didn't have to play entire gigs at a time. The new guitar controller is pretty awesome as well. I still haven't gotten the hang of the slider but its a cool thing to add to the experience. Also, I'm hoping that in the next game they introduce open notes for guitar like they do with bass. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this game and how much it has grown since the last one. I can't help thinking that it would never have happened if Rockband hadn't come into the picture so I guess I'm happy that Rockband came out. Anyway, I recommend buying this game. It's really fun
Great game, lots of lame songs12/30/2008
I gave this game to my boyfriend for Christmas. Despite our dissapointment in all the lame songs (especially compared to GH 2 and 3) we cannot stop playing. There are just tons and tons of songs and a lot of them are good, too. If you like Nirvana, Sting, Oasis and others of the same styles, you will love this guitar hero. We love the drums and the new guitar and in general we think this is a great game. We even recommended that our best friend buy World Tour for his Wii.
This Game ROCKS12/29/2008
By far the best songs of any of the guitar hero games. By adding a bass guitar 4 people can play the game at the same time.
I'm from the Philippines, will you be able to ship this to the Philippines if I ordered it? I've searched other sites but they won't ship it here. Please answer my question. I really want this game.
