Everyone who sees it laughs... until they sit in it and then it's sighs of contentment, and I can't get them out. Perfect on my porch. I had to order a second one so I could have a place to sit! Now the drawbacks...the instructions are poor, the overhand knot is an obvious flaw, but if you thread the ropes thru the s-hook, tie a simple overhand knot (like you were going to tie a key to a shoelace) and then tie another overhand knot outside the s-hook on the trailing ropes right next to the first knot, it will anchor the s-hook when you put tension on it just fine. As for the foot rest (which is surprisingly comfy) the dowel does slip out- I solved this by drilling a starter hole in each end of the dowel, then drilling a 3/8" hole thru the end of the nylon web "cap" that holds the dowel- inserted a washer and small screw thru the nylon "cap" and screwed it into the end of the dowel-permanent fix! Took longer to type it out than to do it. I hope this is helpful to someone! Enjoy- it is really relaxing!
