But when Phil (Bradley Cooper), Doug (Justin Bartha), and Alan (Zach Galifianakis) show up, Stu's low-key brunch makes their previous Vegas fiasco look like a family trip to Disneyland. |After the huge success of 2009’s The Hangover, a sequel seemed inevitable. Two years later, The Hangover Part II made over 500 billion at the box office, worldwide. It was no doubt a smash hit, and it is likely a third go round for the Wolf Pack is in the works. It’s unfortunate, with all the success, that The Hangover Part II is such a bad movie. Customer Reviews of Hangover Part II (Blu-ray)
Not a classic comedy like the first one, but still a lot of fun. Seeing the three guys in Bangkok was a real treat. The formula just works so well that they had to do it a second time. There are a few surprises here and there, but it is not as unpredictable as the first.
I actually found this one to be funnier at times than the first one. It is definately a bit meaner and has more dark humor, but the setting of bangkok is really good! The three lead characters still work together really well. Its a little more predictable than the first, but still worth watching.
A worthy sequel5/26/2012
While not as funny as the first movie, I still greatly enjoyed this one. The gag with the tattoo is absolutely hilarious and it's fun to see the wolfpack back together again. Chow gets really annoying at times, but the three leads deliver big time in this movie.
While not as good as the first I still had a lot of fun watching this one. I'm glad the whole cast from the first Hangover all returned to do this one. The only thing I didn't really care for was the unbelievable story but when it comes to comedy who cares.
