Nice MPEG2 Capure Card
I run a Pentium III 733 Mhz, with 7200 RPM hard drives. For the price, this is nicest video capture card I have ever owned. As for capturing video, the Hardware MPEG2 encoder does well, and VERY significantly reduces CPU usage over other software encoders. While recording, I have never had even a single lost frame as far as I can tell. Note: While recording, the picture may sometimes flicker as though it may have dropped a frame, but when I review the recording, it looks perfect. As for picture quality, I can only comment on capture from the built-in tuner connected to cable tv, which looks great. Overall, I recommend this card at the price.
