|7ft RP-SMA to RJ-SMA Extension Cable. Great for extending the length of your wireless device to your Hi-Gain Antenna|
I was having all kinds of connection problems and weak signal problems and was looking for a cheap solution. Rather than buying an expensive range booster with no guarantee of working, I opted for this extension cable. It's very easy to install, just screw on the connectors of the extension cable, one end to your router, and one end to your external antenna. My connection speed went up from about 1 or 2 MPS to about 18 to 36 MPS with about 24 MPS average. Sometimes I get the full 54 MPS. Now I'm able to connect to the internet on two laptops instead of one previously and I don't have any problems with weak signals or no connections. Well worth the relatively cheap price of approx. $15 to get a big boost in your wireless signal.
The Hawking extension antenna was very disappointing as it actually reduces the signal strngth. Not recommended.

My Wi-fi and computer are in two different (but close) buildings. I was constantly losing connectivity. Then I added this mere extension cable for my receiving antenna - and put the antenna on a 6-foot-tall bookshelf. Problem Solved. I would recommend this cheap solution before trying other things like investing in a "can-tenna."
