HOW IT WORKS

The HD45X is designed to pick up an existing 2.4GHz or 5.0GHz wireless signal from an access point or router, then repeat it.

Dual-Band technology provides maximum flexibility to connect to the popular 2.4GHz frequency and off-load traffic to the 5.0GHz frequency. Similar to driving in the carpool lane on the freeway, devices using the 5.0GHz frequency are able to "bypass" the heavily congested 2.4GHz frequency networks. Because the 5.0GHz frequency is less crowded, devices on this network have a stronger and more solid wireless connection, improving overall performance.
