For lovers of Irish folk ballads and Corrheads
This is not the typical Corrs pop-rock fare. All the tracks are cover tunes, most being ballads from the Emerald Isle's traditional songbook. But the arrangements and performances are very much done with a contemporary feel. If you enjoy Andrea Corr's vocals and the band's musicianship, you'll like this album. But be warned- other than the Thin Lizzy cover "Old Town", there's no rock to be heard anywhere on here. (And two songs are sung in Irish Gaelic!) Strictly for Celtiphiles.
