Chance, a playful, sometimes troublesome American bulldog, has recently been adopted by a happy family where he makes friends with the family's chummy pets. Together, Sassy the Himalayan cat, Shadow the retriever and Chance live contentedly. But one day the domesticated trio find themselves home alone when their young owners Peter, Hope and Jamie take a short out-of-town trip with Mom and her new hubby.
