Honor Squadrons (2010)

Editor's Note Take to the sky with the Confederate Air Force in this documentary exploring the efforts of the all-volunteer organization to keep vintage airplanes exactly where they should be - up among the clouds. Comprised of 8000 members from across the globe, the CAF has managed the herculean feat of restoring such classic planes as the P-38 Lightning, the P-51 Mustang, and the B-17 Texas Raider. Interviews with Luftwaffe test pilot Werner Seitz, World War II veteran and former U.S. President George H.W. Bush, and others offer fascinating details about the CAF's tireless efforts to insure that these remarkable flying machines don't wind up in an aircraft bone-yard.
