|The world's fastest photo printer - 6 individual ink cartridges for realistic photos and rich text.|
This is the second one I bought. I had to replace the first one which I loved so much I wanted the same printer again. Great price, great photos and easy to use.
I have had this printer for about a week now and I absolutely love it. I have printed several things including photos and documents and the quality of the prints is amazing.
firstly i must appriciate the relentless effort of the produsers of this photo printing machine looking at it from the web page it appears workable and stress-free comparering the normal way of photo printing in my country nigeria you take a snap go to the printing house which might be far from were you took the snap when you get there you will have to join the a long line untill it gets to you your photos wont be printed.so with great i thnak you for this excellent invention.
Fast, great value for price1/29/2007
Very fast with photos as well as documents. Happy with individual ink tanks as we have already gone through one color. Inks are available as a bundle with photo paper for about half the price of individual cartridges at Staples ($30+) compared to $9 per cartridge.
Not photo lab quality1/5/2007
I bought this printer at a great price to replace an aging canon 470d printer. The software included was pretty good. It was easy to insert my memory card or hook up my camera to the printer. The interface on the printer was also very easy. Now for the bad. The printer is very shaky. I mean it almost jumped off of my desk with the movement when it was printing! I printed out comparisons from my 4yr old canon. The colors were brighter on the HP, however the fine areas (like eyes) etc. I could see dots. You have to look close, but they are there. I tried canon, epson, HP & Fuji paper. I actually think the HP paper was the worst. After 2 weeks I gave up on it and returned it. I bought the Canon MP600 printer scanner. Now this printer is the bomb. The photo's are the closest I've seen to photo lab quality. I'm very impressed with Canon. I wish HP could fix their quality w/ paper and quality.
This is a GREAT printer. It is so nice to be able to print pictures using blue tooth! Quality is the best!
Horrible reliability. Printer sensor failed after the warranty. A call to HP customer service was a bad experience. I got someone in India. I could not understand what the hell she was saying. I had to hang up. It does print nice pictures, but the ink takes a very long time to dry. This printer will not save you money. Don't believe the hype. You will be buying many of those little ink cartridges
was more than i expected!!12/6/2006
great printer for the money!! I got a great deal on it PLUS had a 40 dollar rebate. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good at home printer
THE FASTEST AND MOST ECONOMICAL PRINTER I EVER USED
I have not actually used this particular printer yet but I do own two other Epson printers. A Picture Mate and the Photo R340. I needed a printer for my son who is away at college and if this is half as good as the ones I use then the money was well spent and with the Buy.com rebate and the Google holiday bonus the price can't be beat.
Excellent for such an inexpensive printer11/28/2006
This printer (the HP) prints beautiful and vibrant colors, and is great for a general use photo printer. It is easy to use and I would definitely buy it again. It is NOT a high end professional printer, but is perfect if you are looking for good quality prints out of an inexpensive printer.
I've used my 8250 for almost a year now and it has exceeded my expectations. It is the third Photosmart that I have owned. I originally bought it for the 6 cartridge ink system and the new Vivera ink. The speed is amazing, as is the quality of the prints. I considered it a good value a year ago when I paid considerably more. I use it both as a stand alone, and with the computer and Photoshop. In addition to photos, it is great for text. In draft mode, it is incredibly fast with more than adequate quality. At today's prices I don't see how it can be beat. A word of advice, It uses yellow ink faster than any other color.
Have been using my 8250 for almost a year now and I am still delighted at the quality of the printing and the ease of use. What a great price (I paid $170) they are now. A real bargain.
Sleek, Speedy Quality7/4/2006
I purchased this printer to replace my HP Photosmart 7960 that I've had for almost 3 years! I must say that I'm very impressed with the print speed and quality. It takes just about 2 minutes to print a 4x6 photo on the HP 7960 and only 15 seconds on the HP 8250, with higher quality output! The other thing that really impressed my was the autoloader for 4x6 prints! Didn't expect that.
I have purchased and used many printers trying to achieve photo quality prints. This is the best printer in the price range that I have found. The colors are vibrant and true. The printer is easy to use. The colors are individual so you only have to replace the ones that are really empty. I would highly recommend this printer to anyone.
