Look into another printer8/23/2011
I see this printer is about half the price of what I bought it for on this site about 6 months ago and I know probably why. This printer uses way too much ink way too fast. With light usage you will get a month or two out of it. Then you will spend $50 to $100 a pop for new ink. I tried refilling which is the only way to go with this and there was some issues with that. Save the hassle and try to find a printer that has the print head built into the cartridge. Yes it is more expensive but it lasts longer. My 8 year old HP 960C works 100 times better than this printer and I am glad I didn't get rid of it when I got this printer. The wireless is nice though and the scanner is nice, but be fully away of the mess that you are getting into with this.
Very happy with this printer!10/2/2010
The printer was a great price, much less than the brand I had been buying every time. And the quality of photos seems to be very comparable. It also uses much less ink than the others did. Was extremely simple to hook up, as soon as I got is hooked up it found my wireless network and I didn't have to do anything. Overall, I'm thrilled with my purchase and would highly recommend.
Difficult, if not impossible to set up wirelessly2/4/2010
This printer looks slick and it is fast. Also it kind of shakes when printing. So better put it on solid surface.I bought this printer to hook it up with 3-4 computers(PC & MAC) in the house wirelessly, but frustratingly I gave up after spending hours. I have good experience with setting up wireless and using them, but couldn't get this one to fly because printer keeps on looking for SSID which my router is broadcasting publicly and I know that for fact. So anyway I hooked it up with ethernet on my network and it worked in this case. So setting up wireless was difficult, but made it work in this way to be shared on network. Also can not comment on bluetooth because I have not used it. Regarding the life of ink catridges it is too early to tell for me. Printed a picture though and it came out beautiful. One more thing one must know before buying this printer is that if you are connecting this to a slow pc (Pentium 4 2.8 Ghz & 2 GB RAM) then its software is going to murder your pc's resources and slow it down to crash eventually. Overall, aside to all this difficulties this product looks amazing and touch screen works very well.
