Television's most beloved series of all time, I Love Lucy, is now available on DVD, with the release of Volumes one and two featuring episodes from the series' first season on CBS. In Volume One, you'll see series stars Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz in the lost I Love Lucy pilot, which sold the series to CBS but was not made for broadcast. Then Lucy and Ethel (Vivian Vance) disagree with Ricky (Arnaz) and Fred (William Frawley) on how to celebrate the Mertzes' wedding anniversary in "The Girls Go To A Nightclub." See Lucy use some wacky tactics to rekindle the flame in their marriage when she decides Ricky's love is growing cold in "Be A Pal," then watch her exercise and starve herself to fit into a size 12 costume so she can sing in Ricky's show in "The Diet." Vol. One also features the series' original opening plus special bonus materials unique to each episode.
