The new IBM System Storage TS2230 Tape Drive Express Model H3V (SEO 3580S3V), an external stand-alone or rack mountable unit, is designed to offer high capacity and performance for the midrange systems environment. TS2230 incorporates the Linear Tape-Open (LTO) IBM System Storage Ultrium 3 Half- High SAS Tape Drive Version 2 with a maximum throughput performance of up to 80 MB/sec native data transfer rate.
