From the Publisher:
Annotation:
Violence, revenge, love, and social commentary make appearances in this intense sci-fi young adult novel. Living quietly with his gran in London's gang-ridden Crow Town projects, 16-year-old Tom Harvey has a perfectly ordinary existence until an iPhone smashes into his brain at 77mph. At the very same moment, his friend Lucy is being gang raped by a group of thugs. When the surgeons are unable to remove all of it, Tom's brain now can access the Internet at lightning speed, hack into phones and files, leaving nothing to hide. Intent on helping Lucy discover who hurt her so badly, Tom monitors everyone's electronic activity, narrowing down the villains through their texts and phone calls. At once unwrapping the horrors behind gang violence and serving up great helpings of vengeful violence, this is a thought-provoking read.

Praise

"The book may feature exploding limbs, but it is also a moralistic fable that makes thoughtful reference to Arthur Koestler, Aristotle and E. E. Cummings. Together, it makes for an intelligent and fast-moving story, one that cleverly shifts between comic-book thrills and touchingly effective realism." - Victoria Beale 12/02/2011
