Great Compression Tool
I was looking for a compression coax tool but didn't know what to buy. I went to HD and bought one for $15 which sucked. While helping Verizon install fiber optic service in my in-laws house I saw they were using this tool to crimp the coax wire for the video cable runs. The quality of this tool is remarkable and it gives a good, tight seal when used with Ideal compression connectors ($29 for a box of 50 RG6Q at HD). The only bear with compression connectors is jamming the stripped coax cable into the connector so that it's ready to be compressed with this tool. I'm sure there's a tool out there for that job. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a compression tool for coax wire. If you buy this, also get a decent stripper b/c stripping coax with a utility knife is frustrating and makes the job more difficult.
