|The iHMP5 from iHome is a unique headphone/speaker system that allows you to listen privately or share your music, all with a single device. The iHMP5 has an adjustable headband and thickly cushioned earcups to provide a secure and comfortable fit when being used as a pair of headphones.|
When you want to share your tunes with friends and family, simply rotate the earcups outward and lay the headphones on a flat surface. The internal magnetic proximity switch will automatically turn on the internal amplifier and boost the volume to room level.
The headphones have a standard 3.5mm stereo mini plug for connecting to a wide variety of MP3 players, CD players, computer, and other media devices. An inline volume control allows you to make quick adjustments without having to interface with your player. The headphones operate on a pair of AAA batteries for hours of enjoyment.
Pretty neat product5/13/2013
This headset is a pretty neat product for the price. Just wish it had a little more power though. But overall, cool item
I can't believe how great the headphones are and the sound when you convert to speakeers is great. All you have to do is take them off your head snap them together and now everyone can hear what you're listening to.
Decent, but could be better5/12/2013
The volume control in speaker mode doesn't amplify the volume enough and there is no joining piece to keep the headphone wires together where they split to go to each side of the headphones. For the price though, these are ok.
Fun and useful5/6/2013
Great for use in the office or shop, sounds surprisingly good.
Product was worthy of it's purchase
Good value for the price12/29/2012
These headset is a good bargain for the price. The comfort is not 100% but it is not bad either. The sound is OK. The quality of build is fine as well. I think it is quite a bargain for 15$
What's in a cord?.12/26/2012
The cord could be another foot or 2 longer.
Basic quality Headphone for the price.
Read return policy before ordering12/9/2012
Item arrived in previously opened condition and item was defective. Purchaser must pay cost of return ($5.45) to receive refund ($14.99) or replacement.. In my world, 'new' means in unopened package and not in 'open box' condition. If I wanted to purchase used and/or defective products, I would go to a second-hand store. I am not a happy camper.
Great price for headphones for a young teenager that wants some features to work with her iPod.
